News-One can confirm that Joy FMs award-winning host of the Super Morning Show, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, had a secret engagement ceremony at Accra exactly ten days ago.
The off-camera ceremony was held at a palace-like residence at Lashibi in Accra and attendance was strictly by invitation. Though information on Kojo’s new wife is still scanty, News-One sources say she is an intelligent lady called Akua and has a type of beauty that can convert a gay into a heterosexual.
News-One also gathered that ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, a bosom friend of Kojo, was at the engagement ceremony but disguised himself as a cake decorator from Flair Catering. Also within the small attendees was a former girlfriend of Kojo . Kojo turns 29 on April 5 this year and has distinguished himself as a young achiever by all standards. He was the senior prefect of Pope John Senior High School and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with an accounting major from the University of Cape Coast.
What many people do not know is that Kojo Oppong Nkrumah before becoming a broadcaster, was a stutterer, with words sticking on his tongue and unable to release them. It is therefore surprising that he has transformed into one of the finest broadcasters currently in Ghana, who rattles an impeccable brand of the Queen’s language with an amazing dexterity and flair.
